About Cabo San Lucas
The Los Cabos Coast stretches west of Cabo San Lucas and east to San Jose' del Cabo. Multi-million dollar resorts and golf courses now dot the 20 miles (32 km) of white sand beaches between these two towns, and is known as the Corridor.
Cabo San Lucas is known as the most tourist-oriented area of the peninsula excepting Tijuana, and is a favorite for honeymooners, spring-breakers, and families trying to escape stress. If you are looking for a real taste of old Mexico, forget it. Here you don't even need to change your U.S. dollars into pesos.
The pristine waters and white sandy beaches offer the major activity in Cabo San Lucas, besides golfing. With some of the world's finest sportfishing, you may want to try your luck with the marlin, swordfish, or over 800 species of fish that reside there. You can also find wave runners, parasailing, snorkeling gear, etc. Your visit would not be complete without a visit to El Arco (Arch Rock) in a glass bottom boat. Enjoy watching the sea lions who hang out on the rocks. The boat may stop at nearby La Playa del Amor (Beach of Love). At high tide the tranquil Sea of Cortes and the rough Pacific Ocean meet and "kiss", It's okay to swim on the gulf side, but beware the rough Pacific side.
Resorts, golfing, food, shopping, water activities-what else is needed? Oh yes, a night life to rival any other. Come to Cabo San Lucas. Sit back, relax, and enjoy being pampered at the beautiful, natural hideaway.
